The table is sturdy and strong.  The top is thick, providing many places for vehicles to travel and avoid and hard to scratch up. However, one reviewer was a little disappointed because it did not come with set ups for the tracks. And another one wish the sides were enclosed because sometimes, when her son attempts to close the drawer, the back of the drawer will get caught in the opening on the side of the table.

One said that there’s no need to buy the brand name tables as this one is so much less expensive and still solid. Another user considers this as a perfect wooden train table and preferred it than others with prints so the kids can define their own play. The pieces are machined well and fit together perfectly. The assembly is simple. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. The drawer is quite long and deep to store the toys. It’s good that the drawer can be opened but cannot be removed.

Two reviewers were able to find problems in the drawer. One person says the drawer is exposed, so it is not even suitable for underneath storage. Another person was able to find flaw in drawer design after assembly. The holes drilled for the screws were not aligned properly. The slots for the bottom of the drawer did not line up either. Another reviewer found inside near the drawer there was a gouge in the wood and complain about the paint.
